SMOOTH started with a group of individuals taking each other's loved ones to
medical appointments, SMOOTH slowly evolved from using personal vehicles,
graduating to vans, and eventually owning it's own fleet of buses. We are committed
to providing innovative transportation services so that agencies in the community
can focus on their mission: serving clients and the community.
Today, SMOOTH maintains and operates numerous different contracts with local
organizations and social service agencies. Some of these include the City of
Guadalupe, the County of Santa Barbara, Tri-Counties Regional Center, the Santa
Maria Recreation and Parks Department, Vocational Training Center, as well several
other agencies.
It is our hope that through our efforts, and in collaboration with other agencies in
the community, that people will have greater access to services and that together, we
can overcome transportation challenges.
