Hours of operation for the Senior Dial A Ride are:
Monday through Friday
9:00 am through 4:00 pm

"How do I Schedule My Ride?"
Step 1:   Simply call SMOOTH at

Monday - Friday
8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Please call at least 1 week in advance

Step 2:     Have the following information ready:
* Your name, address & phone number
* Your appointment Date & Time
* The address of you destination
* The time you want to return
* Any special need

"How much does the Senior Dial A Ride Cost?"

The fare for the Senior Dial A Ride is:

$3.00 each way ($6.00 for round trip)

Drivers do not carry change. Please have exact fare when boarding.

"How long will I have to wait for my ride?"

Each month more and more seniors use the Senior Dial A Ride service.
Our Dispatchers & Drivers will do everything possible to minimize your
wait time, BUT when we are busy, we may have to pick up as much as
10 minutes earlier or 10 minutes later than the time you requested and
your return time may be a little bit later than you would like, only so we
can serve more seniors.
The Senior Dial A Ride provides curb to curb transportation for Senior
Residents (60 years and over) of Santa Maria and Orcutt. The Senior Dial
A Ride is available for shopping, going to the beauty parlor, medical
appointments, to visit a friend, or for any reason and anywhere in the
Santa Maria/Orcutt areas.

SMOOTH has served the Santa Maria Valley for
over 35 Years providing hundreds of thousands of
rides to seniors, the disabled, and economically
disadvantaged.

Now you too can help "Provide A Ride", with a tax
deductible donation to the new 2009-2010
fundraiser campaign in support of the Senior Dial
A Ride.

Your donation will help transport seniors to
medical appointments, shopping, to visit a friend,
the beautician, or any number of quality of life
outings in Santa Maria and Orcutt. Here's how
your donations will help our senior passengers:

$0-$25.....Ride Provider.....10-15 trips
$26-$50.....Bronze Provider.....20-25 trips
$50-$75.....Silver Provider.....30-35 trips
$76-$100.....Gold Provider.....40-45 trips
$100 Plus.....Diamond Provider.....50-55 trips
